  • Course Description – Health Data Standards & Interoperability

    This course focuses on how health data is structured, standardized, and exchanged across systems to support clinical care, reporting, and research.

    Building on foundational concepts, learners will apply key standards and interoperability principles to real-world health systems, with emphasis on LMIC and oncology-informed scenarios. The course prioritizes application over theory, guiding learners to identify data inconsistencies, map system interactions, and design practical, feasible solutions that improve data quality and flow.

    All learning activities are directly aligned with capstone development, ensuring that students produce meaningful, real-world outputs.
