Virtual Session: How to be a Successful PI and Budgeting – April 1st

 

Concept Development – April 3rd

Scholars will work on their concept notes. They will send 1 slide prior to the meeting

 

In- Person Team Science Workshop + Team Development – April 9th and 10th

Each scholar will prepare and submit individual research concept notes to present at the workshop

Team Development - During workshop

Scholars will create 6 multidisciplinary teams and each team should have members from at least two ARGO institutions. Teams will be created based off a mutual area of interest.

May 2026

 

Selected Proposal Title + Team Contribution Plan – May 1st

Teams will submit the proposed topic they wish to move forward with and how each scholar will contribute

Virtual Qualitative Research Training Course – Rescheduled  - New Date TBD

June 2026

 

Concept Note + Budget – June 1st

Scholars will be provided a concept sheet + Budget template which they will complete with their teams.

Virtual Review of Concept Sheets  - 1.5 hours session – June 11th

Teams will present their concept sheets to the group and receive feedback from mentors and peers

Virtual Grant Writing Course Part 1 – June 25th

 

July 2026

Draft Proposal (1st Draft) – July 10th

Scholars will be provided a grant proposal template which they will complete with their teams

Virtual Grant Writing Course Part 2 – July 23rd 

Teams will have the opportunity to meet with faculty to receive feedback

August 2026

Qualitative Methods Course - August 24th and 25th 

Draft Proposal (2nd Draft) Submission Deadline  – August 31st  

October 2026

In-Person - Live Grant Review and Study Section – October 5th and 6th

These sessions will occur during the ARGO Symposium.

Final Grant Submission + Team Science Assessment – October 30th

November / December 2026
