Hi everyone,
I'm Olatunde Olaniyi Abiodun Oluwafemi from Ogunn State, Nigeria.
I'm a consultant anatomic pathologist  with Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti Multisystem Hospital and Afe Babalola University.
My professional  background span clinical care, teaching, research, and cancer registry management using data analysis.
My interest in the CCD tracks stems from  desire to improve patient care, enhance data collection, and tackle data silos alongside interoperability  challenges.

The challenges in the health sector include critical gaps like lack of health informatics expertise, data silos, poor interoperability,  missing patient data, unfriendly user interfaces, system downtime, delays in diagnosis, and insufficient data for research. These aren't just technology issues, they're  workforce gaps in bridging care delivery and digital system, which is exactly why this program is of relevance to me.

I hope to gain Practical steps from this course to address these challenges in my center.

I look forward to a highly informative and engaging time during the training sessions.

Best regards,

Olatunde

Hi Olatunde,

Nice to meet you. I haven’t worked in oncology, but I have provided direct care to patients with other forms of cancer, so I understand some of the challenges you mentioned with data and interoperability. I look forward to learning from your experience and exploring ways to improve patient care through health informatics.

Best regards,
Janiel Johnson
