I'm a Registered Nurse at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Ondo state, Nigeria.
My background is rooted in nursing and public health practice, with experience spanning clinical care, academic instruction, and health research. My work focuses on improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
My interest in CCD stems from a desire to improve patient care, enhance data collection, and address data silos alongside interoperability challenges.
A major challenge is handling of patient's medical records, a lot of times, medical records go missing and patients have to spend exorbitant fees to rerun tests, this would be solved with the knowledge of health informatics as most records would be digitalized and backed up.
I hope to learn practical steps from this course to solve this challenge.
